Sleep in elegance & sophistication

14 rooms and suites, some with original frescoes and all with en-suite marble and travertine bathrooms, are located in Borgo Pignano’s main building. Perched on a hilltop, the villa accommodation offers stunning views of olive groves, vineyards, fields and woods.
This 18th century villa is surrounded by traditionally planted English gardens overlooking pristine landscapes of Tuscany that have changed little since Renaissance times.

10 maisonettes are within an easy walk of the main villa, restaurants, gardens and infinity pool. Each of them is designed and decorated in an elegant Tuscan style offering privacy and seclusion.

La Canonica, the Priest’s house, dates from the 13th Century, adjoins the ancient church of San Bartolomeo, a few steps across the courtyard from the villa, and contains exceptional original features such as medieval stonework, archways, columns, vaulted ceilings, terracotta floors and restored medieval frescoes.
La Canonica can be used as one large three bedroomed house or independently divided as two separate suites.

Villa La Fonte is a beautiful and luxury villa with 5 rooms, all with en-suite large bathrooms, a spacious dining & living room, a generous well-equipped kitchen, a porch overlooking the lake and a private pool. A Private Chef service is also available on request.
Villa La Fonte is surrounded by Mediterranean aromatic gardens, orchards and fields and sits beside one of the estate’s natural lakes.

From Villa La Lavandaia’s spacious terrace guests can enjoy some of the most breath-taking views of the vast estate, with its spacious, partially covered terrace with unparalleled views 
This spectacular villa is located at a short distance from Borgo Pignano’s main buildings and restaurants. It features two master bedrooms each with its own private bathroom. Furthermore, guests will be able to take advantage of their private heated pool and a private sundeck. 

Casa del Lago is a peaceful and cozy luxury villa with a covered porch with views over gently sloping fields and a small natural lake surrounded by poplars and alders. 
Casa del Lago is ideal for honeymoon couples or for families yearning for a tranquil, secluded setting. 

The Artists’ house is a large stone villa nestled in an oak and beech grove a short walk away from the main villa. 
The ground floor contains a spacious studio with a wood-burning stove a bedroom with an antique Napoleonic sleigh bed and bathroom with a large walk-in shower.  
A flight of stairs leads to the master bedroom. 
The woodlands in which the Artists’ house is sited include a peaceful outside lounging area. 

Indulge your every need

Borgo Pignano’s heated infinity pool is hard to match and is nestled on the slope of a hill beneath the villa, providing expansive views of the Tuscan countryside. A small, separate swimming pool built especially young guests is available for all children under the age of twelve.

Take a moment to enjoy the wellness areas and treatments thought to relax your body and restore your soul. The Spas is located in a charming well-house, where in medieval time the water for the village used to be collected. Borgo Pignano also offers al-fresco massages in the newly opened Wadi Rum. Situated in a secluded meadow beneath the breath-taking infinity pool, Pignano’s alfresco spa area offers guests the chance to completely de-stress and enjoy a massage in the most tranquil, natural environment.

Yoga, Pilates, Qigong… Borgo Pignano has its own fitness room. While parents are enjoying a session of relaxation and mediation, children may enjoy a relax atmosphere where they can play and take part in activities that combine nature and art with the great outdoors.

Pamper your palate

An organic farm is located at the heart of Borgo Pignano and provides the majority of the ingredients used by the kitchens and in the toiletries.
The farm produces olives, cereals and grains that play an important part in the quest for self-sufficiency. Borgo Pignano produces its own range of organic flours, pasta, honey, free-range eggs, fruits, nuts, seeds and cold pressed Tuscan olive oil as well as feed for the estate’s animals.

At the gastronomic restaurant of Villa Pignano, you can sample a creative and innovative cuisine of the territory where the ingredients play an important role.
The menu is complimented with an extensive selection of organic and biodynamic wines from Tuscany.

During the summer the traditional Restaurant Al Fresco offers a relaxed dining experience set within a beautiful garden environment.
